Description

The 1942 pattern officers glove, was not a government contracted item. Similar to a few other garments used by the U.S. military, they were commercially procured by the U.S.A.A.F. and issued to every officer and warrant officer on ?flying status?. They were also on general issue to the U.S. Paratroops.

They were particularly favoured by fighter pilots, as their unlined design allowed greater sensitivity of the controls.

Manufactured again, for the first time since 1942, we pride ourselves in offering an outstanding reproduction of this style glove.

Made from a sumptuous mustard shade Horsehide, our 1942 pattern officers glove is indistinguishable from the original.

The only tell tale sign is our makers mark stamped inside - we would like people to know they were made by us!

This rugged, good looking glove, will help you keep a good grip of the throttle when you?re pulling those tight turns in a dog fight!

Available in sizes 8 (XS), 8.5 (S), 9 (M), 9.5 (L), 10 (XL)
