Special edition: 39th Fighter Squadron.

Superbly hand-painted by a UK artist, these special edition bags are available in very limited quantities. Specially chosen for its fame in WWII, the 39th Fighter Squadron flew with the 5th Air Force in the Pacific theatre of operations. Flying P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs their skill in combat earned them a Distinguished Unit Citation

Made from a strong, 100% cotton canvas, the USAAF kit bag is an exact reproduction of the early-war version in the correct pale olive-drab shade.

It will easily hold a leather flight jacket, along with plenty of other items. For short-stay trips it's a must - big enough to carry all you need, but small enough to classify as 'carry-on' baggage on a flight.

You can also personalise your kit bag by having an authentic name tag strip stencilled and stitched on white webbing tape - just like the originals!

Measure your chest over a T-shirt; it is helpful to get someone to do this for you. Do not inflate your lungs, just relax and stand with your arms out. The tape measure should be run around your chest right up under your arms and held snug, but not tight - this is your chest measurement.
