Description
Special edition: 334th Fighter Squadron - 'Eagle Squadron'.
Superbly hand-painted by a UK artist, these special edition bags are available in very limited quantities. Specially chosen for its fame in WWII, the 334th Fighter Squadron was comprised of volunteers and were attached to RAF 71 squadron. When the US joined the war, the 334th were assigned to the famous the 4th Fighter Group where it continued to acquire a reputation for being one of the finest units in the USAAF.
Made from a strong, 100% cotton canvas, the USAAF kit bag is an exact reproduction of the early-war version in the correct pale olive-drab shade.
It will easily hold a leather flight jacket, along with plenty of other items. For short-stay trips it's a must - big enough to carry all you need, but small enough to classify as 'carry-on' baggage on a flight.
You can also personalise your kit bag by having an authentic name tag strip stencilled and stitched on white webbing tape - just like the originals!
