Special edition: 487th Fighter Squadron
Superbly hand-painted by a UK artist, these special edition bags are available in very limited quantities. Specially chosen for it's fame in WWII, the 487th Fighter Squadron flew with the mighty 352nd Fighter Group.
Made from a strong, 100% cotton canvas, the USAAF kit bag is an exact reproduction of the early-war version in the correct pale olive-drab shade.
It will easily hold a leather flight jacket, along with plenty of other items. For short-stay trips it's a must - big enough to carry all you need, but small enough to classify as 'carry-on' baggage on a flight.
You can also personalise your kit bag by having an authentic name tag strip stencilled and stitched on white webbing tape - just like the originals!
