Eastman Ostmann WWII German Flying Jacket-Black Leather Size 40
£650 including shipping
I'm selling my Eastman Ostmann jacket which I've had now for around 10 years. It's a lovely jacket, quite heavy and nicely worn. The reason I'm selling it is it's always been a little too short for me being 6ft 2 and it needs to go to someone who is going to get the wear out of it. Measurements are as follows: Size 40-Black Back 25.5 inches (65 cms) Arm 23 inches (59 cms) Pit 20 inches (51cms) Please email me or call me with any questions/more photos or more measurements. Thanks Andy

Eastman Rough Wear 27752, Size 42, almost new
I am selling my RW 27752 A-2, Size 42, which I bought from Eastman about a year ago. It is without doubt the most beautiful jacket I have owned so far, and I am only giving it away because I came to the conclusion that it is all in all a tad bit small for me and that a Size 44 would fit me better. So I am giving it away to fund a new jacket. The jacket shows very limited signs of wear. There is no damage or anything to the knittings or the linig. Overall, the leather is just starting to show some beautiful reddish hue in the more exposed areas, just as one would expect. On the upper back the leather is somewhat thinner, so it starts to show some nice creasing, which adds a lot of character to the jacket. Comes from a non-smoking home. Measurements: Chest - 21,7" Shoulder - 19,3" Sleeves - 25,1" Back - 24,8" Please feel free to contact me for any questions or additional pictures. Stefan

Eastman A-2 Flying Jacket Rough Wear Clothing Co. 1401-P 40R Jimmy Stewart Tribute
$800.00 USD + Shipping based on destination
Custom made in 2007 from Eastman’s first consignment of then-new Havana horse hide; a standard Rough Wear 1401 from ELC came in russet brown horse hide at that time and Havana was a better color match to Stewart’s original jacket, which I photographed at the USAF museum. The insignia was all custom made to match type, size, and placement from measurements I took of Stewart’s original jacket. The vegetable-tanned horse hide this coat is made from is simply delicious in every way: hand feel, color, and grain structure. Condition is excellent, with zero damage to knit and lining, and just slight perspiration marks to the inside collar lining as seen on vintage A-2’s. No odors of any kind and from a smoke-free home. 2007 was the premier of Eastman’s magnificent copy of a spring-loaded Crown zipper, the most typical zipper found in this 1941 contract of an A-2, and this Crown zipper functions perfectly. Slight patina of wear on rolled back of leather collar and on both elbows on seam areas, all of which is natural. The measurements/fit of this coat were executed on a custom basis for me to precisely match the measures of the size 40 Rough Wear 1401 A-2 worn by Stewart and are as follows: Chest width – 22” Shoulder width 18.5” Arm length – 24” Back length – 24.5” The insignia, rank, and name tag were all custom made and never available for public purchase. Custom offerings as found on this coat are no longer available from ELC and a new A-2 of this contract costs nearly double without insignia.
