Description
We are often approached by the film and tv industry to supply authentic flight jackets for their productions.
However, as part of our service to such jobs, we also offer original vintage WWII artefacts should they wish to go to that degree of authenticity.
In the 2024 release of Masters Of The Air, we supplied many original articles, such as these original WWII USAAF HS-23 headsets
The HS-23 was used extensively during WWII by USAAF airmen, such as bomber crewmen. and is the most popular headphone set for WWII aviation collectors to have as part of their flight kit displays.
These are original WWII headsets with the ANHB1 head-phones, with the exception of having reproduction sponge ear cushions. (Original ear cushions (being made of real rubber) notoriously go hard and disintegrate and so are virtually impossible to find in useable condition. We had these reproductions made specially for supply to Masters. They are the correct size, colour and consistency of the originals).
This is an original WWII artefact, and whilst in excellent condition, it will have signs of wear and use.
