USAAF - 8th AF Bomber Crew B-6 complete headset

Description

We are often approached by the film and tv industry to supply authentic flight gear for their productions.

In the 2024 release of Masters Of The Air, we supplied all of the combat headgear which comprised a mixture of various helmet styles such as these very accurate recreations of the USAAF shearling Type B-6 flight helmet.

We also supplied many original WWII artefacts, such as modified Type A-10C oxygen masks.

Together with reproduction Type B-7 goggles and R-14/ANHB-1 earphones we were able to supply the production with very authentic complete head gear ensembles.

This offering is for a complete 8th Air Force head gear set, as pictured, which comprises:

- Our recreation of  the Type B-6 shearling flight helmet, adorned with the correct 8th AF rigger modified press stud attachments for accepting attachment of oxygen mask.

- Reproduction HS-18 (R-14 earphone) headset installed into helmet

- Original WWII production modified A-10C oxygen mask

- Reproduction Type B-7 goggles

The B-6 helmet is brand new, so the customer can select the size required, so this part of the ensemble is not screen-used.

The masks are screen-used pieces that were hired to the film company and then returned, so whilst in excellent condition, they will show some use and soiling to some degree or other.

The goggles are screen used pieces as well and like the masks, they are in excellent condtion, but will show some signs of useage.
